1.1 The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance functionality and analyze traffic.
1.2 No personal data shall be collected without the user’s consent.

2. Access Credentials

2.1 Access to the Reading Room or other restricted content is granted only upon full confirmation of payment.
2.2 A unique password or access credential will be issued for the purchased access period.
2.3 Credentials are strictly personal, non-transferable, and may be updated or revoked at our discretion.
2.4 Unauthorized sharing, reproduction, or distribution of credentials constitutes a breach of this Policy and shall result in immediate termination of access without refund.

3. Payments & Refunds

3.1 All payments are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable unless otherwise required by applicable law.
3.2 Users must report technical issues within seven (7) days of purchase in order to be eligible for resolution.
3.3 Access to content shall be provided only after payment has been received in full.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 All artworks, writings, images, designs, and media published on the Site are the exclusive property of Bleu Door Studio and are protected by copyright and related laws.
4.2 Unauthorized reproduction, adaptation, resale, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

Artificial Intelligence and Dataset Use
4.3 Content from the Site may not be copied, scraped, downloaded, or otherwise utilized for training, fine-tuning, or enhancing artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), or related technologies without prior written authorization.
4.4 Inclusion of content in datasets, corpora, or algorithmic systems is expressly forbidden.
4.5 Any unauthorized use constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights and may result in legal action.

5. Art Sales & Reading Room

5.1 Reading Room Content

• Provided exclusively for personal, non-commercial use.

• Reproduction, redistribution, resale, or public display in any format is prohibited.

• Access remains valid only for the period specified at purchase.

5.2 Prints & Physical Artwork

• Purchase of artwork or prints confers ownership of the physical object only.

• No reproduction or derivative rights are transferred unless expressly agreed in writing.

5.3 Digital Protections

• Removal of watermarks, signatures, or copyright notices is prohibited.

• Digital downloads and access credentials are non-transferable; attempts to share or resell them shall result in termination of access without refund.

5.4 Refunds & Returns

• All sales of digital art, Reading Room access, and physical prints are final.

• Claims of shipping damage must be submitted within seven (7) days of delivery, accompanied by photographic evidence.

5.5 Shipping, Taxes, Duties

• Buyers must provide accurate shipping information.

• The Studio is not liable for delays, losses, or damage caused by carriers.

• Buyers are solely responsible for taxes, customs, and import duties.

6. To Fold a Shadow™

6.1 To Fold a Shadow™ is a trademark of Bleu Door Studio. It encompasses the novel, artworks, maps, exhibitions, digital content, and related materials.
6.2 Access to To Fold a Shadow™ materials is granted solely for personal, non-commercial use.
6.3 Unauthorized use, including copying, adaptation, redistribution, or derivative works, is prohibited.
6.4 Collaborations, licensing, publication, or derivative uses require prior written agreement with Bleu Door Studio.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 The Site and its content are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
7.2 Bleu Door Studio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site, artworks, or related content.

8. Eligibility & Age Requirement

8.1 By accessing the Site, users affirm that they are at least 18 years of age, or have obtained parental/guardian consent.

9. Force Majeure

9.1 Bleu Door Studio shall not be held liable for delays, failures, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, strikes, government restrictions, or technical outages.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

10.1 This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States.
10.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Santa Fe County, New Mexico.

11. Amendments

11.1 Bleu Door Studio reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time without prior notice.
11.2 Updates will be published on this page with the effective date clearly indicated.
11.3 Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
